NOTE: This must be used in conjunction with the WhiteStar Dashboard and WhiteStars server-side PTY. WSH will not function unless you have a valid server-side PTY to connect to, and have given appropriate user permissions with the WhiteStar Dashboard. Please go to www.whitestar.io to learn more about WhiteStar Shell setup.

Introducing WhiteStar Shell, WhiteStars revolutionary new remote shell system for iOS. WhiteStar Shell allows you to access controlled servers and devices on the go directly from your iPhone. Your WSH will allow you to create a peer to peer connection on the WhiteStar overlay network that allows you to gain encrypted access to a remote device and utilize its on-device terminal system. You can permission who can access your servers using the WhiteStar Tag system, as well as control which commands a user may issue with WhiteStar Shell. This makes WhiteStar Shell a secure way to allow remote technicians to access your devices for remote diagnostics - all without having to worry about complicated VPNs or opening pinholes in your firewall.

Need to download or upload some files to or from your remote server? WhiteStar Shell has built-in StarDrop file transfers, allowing you to send and receive encrypted files over the WhiteStar peer to peer network. This means you can grab log files for diagnostics, upload updates to your server, or use your server as remote storage - all from your phone!

Server administrators can rest assured they can turn on and off WSH access at any time, revoke technician access if need be, control user access controls, have granular control over user commands that may be issued, and can see stroke-for-stroke what a technician does on their device with detailed log files generated by WSH. You get to control who has access, what they may do, and verify exactly what a technician does on your device.
